(IntegrityPress.org) – President Biden likes to complain about the wealthy not-paying their “fair share,” but perhaps that’s a bit of projection considering both Biden’s living children refuse to pay their taxes.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve already heard about Hunter Biden’s unpaid taxes. The President’s son failed to report $1.5 million income from 2017 and 2018.
Fox News is now reporting that Ashley Biden, the daughter of President Biden, also has unpaid tax liabilities to the tune of over $5,000. Former aide to President Trump Garrett Ziegler pointed out Biden’s hypocrisy in comments to Fox News Digital. He called it an example of the Biden family’s carelessness.
Ziegler suggested that going into an election year, it was incredibly irresponsible to have a financial tax liability associated with the campaign.
The lien came from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue via Philadelphia County which reportedly notified Ashley Biden about the liability on December 1st. The lien was issued on January 1st, 2015.
Hunter Biden lived a lavish lifestyle including using his ill-gotten gains to purchase prostitutes, drugs, and memberships to exclusive clubs. Special Counsel David Weiss called the First Son’s behavior a “four-year scheme” to avoid paying approximately $1.4 million in taxes he owed to the federal government. The younger Biden was also accused of filing false returns for 2018 in 2020 during his father’s first presidential bid.
Weiss said that Hunter Biden “subverted” the normal withholding process for taxes at his company, Owasco, by taking millions of dollars from its coffers. Weiss pointed out that Hunter Biden then used the money “on an extravagant lifestyle” instead of paying off his tax liabilities.
Hunter Biden had his tax liability paid off via a ‘loan’ from lawyer Kevin Morris, whom he met at a Biden campaign fundraiser. The First Son saw a plea deal collapse last summer after a judge scrutinized the conditions of the arrangement.
Hunter Biden faces up to 17 years if convicted on the charges.
