(IntegrityPress.org) – Former President Donald Trump recently interrupted a broadcast of Steven Bannon’s War Room while Bannon was interviewing Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake. Bannon awkwardly paused Lake to answer his cell phone and addressed Trump as “Mr. President” before asking if he can call him right back after he gets off the air.
Trump reportedly responded to Bannon saying “Love War Room, call me back,” according to War Room Chief Financial Officer Grace Chong. Lake smiled and quietly laughed when she realized who was on the phone.
Bannon and Lake have been vocal supporters of former President Trump, including his claim that the 2020 election was rigged against him. Trump and Bannon were both speakers during Turning Point Action’s convention in Detroit over the weekend of June 15.
Bannon highlighted that America requires a strong leader if we’re to achieve international stability and world peace. He highlighted the current global miasma with two major wars and the potential for more breaking out and said the current problems were the result of having a “feckless hapless old man” in the White House.
Bannon also highlighted what another Trump term would bring: suggesting there’d be tax cuts, a secure southern border, and a dismantling of the FBI. Bannon also suggested that this election was crucial to securing freedom from Democratic political lawfare. He highlighted that Trump would free political prisoners being held on charges or convictions from January 6, 2021.
Bannon clarified that a comment regarding “Victory or Death” he made was a metaphor in a follow up comment, suggesting that a GOP victory is required this fall to maintain the American Republic.
Bannon will report to prison on July 1 after being convicted of a contempt of Congress charge. Bannon refused to testify before former-Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee, calling it a political sham designed to blame Trump for the events of that day instead of objectively discovering the true causative factors. Many conservatives have alleged the FBI orchestrated the riots for political purposes to silence criticism of the 2020 election.
