(IntegrityPress.org) – Federal authorities are claiming that nearly 8 million illegal aliens living in the United States will be awaiting deportation by the end of 2024. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials indicated that Joe Biden’s administration has allowed so many illegals into the country that their current dockets of illegals awaiting deportation is likely to hit 8 million people by the end of the year. They noted that those individuals aren’t in any sort of custody, and are able to freely move around the U.S. in the meantime.
Breitbart previously reported that by the end of FY2023, there were 6.2 million illegals living in the United States. Of those, 1.3 million had been ordered deported by a judge at the conclusion of their legal proceedings.
Axios conveyed the data from internal government records that showed the number of illegals awaiting deportation in the U.S. skyrocketed from 3.2 million in 2020 to a projected eight million by the end of this year.
The dramatic escalation in the situation is one of many reasons GOP representatives have been targeting Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for removal via impeachment proceedings. His impeachment was passed in the House on February 13; whether it will be taken up by the Senate remains to be seen.
Several Senators wanted to hold a vote of no confidence over Mayorkas’ failure to secure the border back in January. The resolution was blocked from coming to a vote by Democrats in the Senate. One of the major points in the resolution was the inflation of the number of people currently awaiting deportation.
Mayorkas’s catch and release plan otherwise known as the “Release and Reporting Management ” (RRM) program rewards criminals who enter the country illegally by allowing them to stay here indefinitely. Often individual illegals are given a court date years into the future with little or no guarantee they’ll show up.
Mayorkas and his Democrat partners are so eager to legalize these criminal entrants that they’ve already given them photo IDs which allow them to collect benefits while in the states from NGOs and other taxpayer-funded programs.
