(Democrats aren’t trying to conceal their long term plans to turn illegal aliens into permanent residents, citizens, and eventually voters. Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Dick Durbin (D-IL) and 17 other Senate Democrats signed a letter sent to President Biden suggesting he does everything he can to legalize the presence of millions of illegal aliens already in the country. Many jurisdictions already allow illegals voting rights in local elections.
They were clear that their single greatest fear was that a Trump victory in November could result in millions of deportations in accordance with current immigration law. The letter highlighted marriages and parents where one party is in the U.S. illegally and suggested that their deportation would break up families and devastate the economy.
The letter claimed that illegal aliens contribute nearly $10 billion to federal and state tax revenues and over $11 billion to Social Security, citing estimates made for 2019. Piling on all the typical Democrat language geared to hijack your emotions and circumvent your reasoning, the letter said that “families live in fear” over the threat of deportation. It claimed that illegals forgo healthcare or reporting crimes due to fear of deportation.
The signatories requested Biden accelerate green card applications for illegals who are married to U.S. citizens, saying that the average processing time is currently 3.5 years. They also want illegals who applied for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) to be able to be sponsored for a green card by employers.
Additionally, they want to create a loophole for illegals who are caregivers to be able to use their status to abrogate orders for deportation. This basically means any woman who has a child here after entering illegally would be able to use her status as a recent mother to defer deportation claims. The same could be said for any male who claimed “caregiver” status.
Republicans have long suggested that the border crisis was the intentional creation of Democratic leaders who want to establish a one-party rule in the United States. By flooding the country with illegals, financially supporting them through tax-payer funded grants laundered through NGOs and other non-profit organizations, they increase the population of dependents in left-leaning cities and states. This leads to increased census figures which impacts distribution of Representatives in the House. It’s been estimated that illegal immigration is already giving blue states extra votes.
