Scarborough Has Meltdown Over Trump Comments

(IntegrityPress.org) – “Bloodbath-gate” continues unabated as the members of the establishment media double or triple down on claims Trump’s use of the term “bloodbath” to describe the economic disaster looming if Biden is elected a second time is some kind of coded threat.

MSNBC pundit Joe Scarborough initially responded to the claims on X (formerly Twitter) by suggesting that Trump “promised another ‘bloodbath’ if he loses again.” Within 12 hours, Elon Musk had replied to the post by doubly destroying Scarborough’s claims. Musk said that the events of January 6, 2021 weren’t a bloodbath “by any definition,” and added that Trump was referring to the metaphorical impact of Biden policies on the auto industry.

Scarborough deleted the post, but it seems that the deletion wasn’t because he learned new information and changed his perspective, but rather, he didn’t want to continue to suffer the embarrassment of having overt lies corrected in real time. That becomes clear when you review his on-air meltdown from Monday, March 18.

In the unhinged rant, Scarborough suggested folks who don’t agree with his perspective are “idiots,” and he claimed the context doesn’t matter. Scarborough suggested that the metaphor for economic damage in the automotive industry “is just bullsh**.” He also implied people who accepted that rationale are “stupid.”

Scarborough seems to believe he can divine Trump’s actual intentions behind his words. Curiously, he seems to have completely missed the mark. Trump is known for using inflammatory language to incite the media into making ridiculous claims like this one. When the “Fakes News” lies about Trump, he’s able to deftly turn it into political points; this was a major strategy during the 2016 election cycle.

Anyone who investigates the context will see that folks like Scarborough are lying. By making wild claims based on keywords taken out of context, Trump draws his antagonists into the trap of talking about him more and promoting his message, even if they lie about it.
